In today’s world, access to information and digital services has become essential for education, employment, healthcare, and everyday life. However, many individuals, especially those from underprivileged communities, still face challenges in navigating technology and accessing important services. Through our Digital Saathi Programme, Sarvprem Foundation, in collaboration with student of SD College Chandigarh, is working to bridge this digital divide and empower communities with knowledge and connectivity.
As part of this initiative, our volunteers help individuals understand and access essential digital services such as online banking, government schemes, digital payments, mobile applications, and internet resources. We guide community members in using smartphones, accessing public services, completing online registrations, and understanding the benefits available to them through various government programmes.
The programme also focuses on spreading digital awareness by helping people connect to information that can improve their daily lives. Whether it is teaching senior citizens how to use mobile phones, assisting families with online documentation, helping students access educational resources, or guiding individuals in using internet services and Wi-Fi, our aim is to ensure that no one is left behind in the digital age.
Beyond technology, Digital Saathi is about building confidence and independence. By equipping individuals with practical digital skills and reliable information, we enable them to make informed decisions and access opportunities that may otherwise remain out of reach.
